COVID-19 GUIDELINES

East Coast Softball, LLC expects full participation from players, coaches, staff and guests to protect one another, minimizing COVID -19 exposure and risk. We ask that all players, coaches, staff & guests stay up to date and follow the most recent CDC, State, Local & County Health Guidelines. ASSESSING COVID-19 RISK

Each day before attending an East Coast Softball event, all players, coaches, staff and guests are required to self-screen using the following questions. 

  1. Are you experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 (cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, chills, headache, body aches, diarrhea, sore throat, congestion, runny nose or loss of taste or smell, etc) that is new or unusual for you?
  2. Have you tested positive for COVID-19 or do you have test results pending for COVID-19?

If the answer is yes to any of the questions above, players, coaches, staff & guests should stay home and follow the CDC Guidelines for risks associated with COVID-19.

POSITIVE TEST RESULT OR EXPOSURE

If a player, coach, staff or guest receives a positive test result for COVID-19, or has been exposed as defined by the CDC, they should stay home, contact their primary care provider and follow the CDC guidelines.

DEVELOP SYMPTOMS DURING EVENT

If a player, coach, staff or guest develops symptoms during the event, they must leave the complex immediately and provide notice to the Tournament Director.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES

The following protective measures are to be followed at all events:

Perform self-screen each day before attending any East Coast Softball event

If you do not feel well or comfortable attending an event, please stay home

If you are considered a “vulnerable population” as defined by CDC, please stay home

Maintain Social Distance while on the complex

Wash & sanitize hands frequently

Masks are to be worn by all attendees of the event in accordance with current CDC Guidelines and State and/or local regulations

Cover your mouth & nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze

Players are not to share water bottles, food or other items
